Services
Every client relationship draws on a dedicated, transparent and discrete approach. Services are tailored to the client’s priorities and developed with a long-term vision.

Expertise & Valuation

There’s more to a work of art than meets the eye.

Drawing on years of experience and an extensive international network, I conduct in-depth research into any artwork — from its provenance and ownership history to restoration records, literature references, and historical or cultural context. Clients receive the equivalent of a comprehensive scan, enabling them to understand and optimise the full potential of their property.

Valuations can also be provided for insurance purposes, inheritance planning, or the inclusion of artworks in a legacy, ensuring that every piece is properly documented and protected for the future.

Affiliated with the Royal Chamber of Belgian Art Experts, I adhere to the highest professional and ethical standards in all research and valuation activities.

Buying

Whether consulting on a single purchase or a growing collection, I want to help my clients acquire pieces that resonate with their needs. We start by determining the outline of any acquisition: an analysis of the client’s aesthetics and personal wishes, the collection’s theme, the price setting, any long-term investment goals, etc., to build a coherent, sustainable and qualitative ensemble. These criteria specify the search for appropriate pieces, further supported by my extended, specialised network. Following any purchase, I can equally coordinate the shipping, insurance, restoration or installation of the artwork.

Selling

There are many ways to sell a work of art, and I make it my mission to identify the most suitable path for each transaction.

Depending on the client’s goals and expectations, I can assist in identifying potential buyers, setting and negotiating prices, and advising on the choice between private sale and public auction.

Selling art is a delicate process in which discretion and trust are essential from the very beginning. My aim is always to work with a limited number of intermediaries, ensuring transparency, efficiency, and the best possible outcome for the client.

Collection Management

Optimising the vision and potential of every collection — while offering independent support on both a practical and conceptual level — is at the heart of my approach.

This may involve the development, organisation, and preservation of artworks, as well as the creation of a collection database, advice on conservation, and the coordination of loans for exhibitions.

Additional services include logistics and shipping arrangements, insurance management, and the research and documentation of provenance, history, or missing records. Regular assessment and valuation of individual works ensure that each piece remains properly cared for and strategically positioned within the collection as a whole.
